Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at the Ayodya Palace was a delightful adventure that blended comfort and culinary exploration. Nestled in a serene part of Nusa Dua, our spacious garden room was peaceful, but it was the dining experiences that truly stood out. Every morning, we indulged in the à la carte breakfast, and the sunrise acai bowl paired with meticulously crafted eggs benedict became a lovely ritual. Each dish showcased the kitchen's attentiveness to detail and presented a charming way to start the day. Throughout our stay, we explored various dining options, including the Genji Japanese restaurant, where the sashimi was notably fresh and beautifully plated. The Waterfall Restaurant, in particular, was a highlight; an inviting ambiance combined with diverse local and international dishes created a memorable experience for us. It was easy to see why many guests were drawn there for dining. While the resort shows signs of age, the staff, particularly Noni and Cynthia, were dedicated and warm, enhancing our overall experience. The blend of gorgeous grounds, wildlife, and genuine hospitality make Ayodya Palace a compelling choice for food enthusiasts seeking a relaxing getaway.
